Who We Are

Based in rural El Dorado County, California, Santa Fe Sun Handmade is dedicated to honoring Native American artisans through authentic, handmade turquoise and sterling silver jewelry inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the American Southwest.

We believe deeply in supporting Native silversmiths and the traditions they carry forward. By working directly with artisans and trusted, long-established sources, we help sustain their livelihoods, respect their cultural knowledge, and support the continuation of these skills for future generations. Every piece we offer reflects exceptional craftsmanship and a genuine commitment to the artists, their families, and their communities.

Our collection is primarily sourced from Navajo silversmiths in New Mexico. Each piece is personally hand-selected by our Founder during frequent journeys to her favorite place—The Land of Enchantment. Most of our jewelry is one-of-a-kind and hallmarked by the silversmith who created it. We exclusively partner with known Native American artisans and reputable sources, ensuring authenticity and integrity in every piece.

We do not sell used jewelry. Every item is brand new, straight from the silversmith’s bench, ready to become part of your story. As we like to say, if a piece sings to you, it is meant to be with you.

To us, these creations are more than beautiful Native American jewelry—they are wearable works of art, Born of Earth, Fire, and Spirit.

Handmade Sterling Silver and Mediterranean Coral pendant by Tyler Brown, the renowned Navajo silversmith known for his vibrant cluster jewelry. Tyler learned his craft from his father, the late, well-known Navajo artist Dean Brown, who taught him the fundamentals of jewelry making as a teenager, starting with simple earrings before progressing to more complex pieces. Dean Brown was a significant influence, establishing Tyler's foundation in Navajo silversmithing.
