A member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe, Rosella is originally from Whiteriver, Arizona, on the Fort Apache Reservation. She now lives and creates her jewelry in Albuquerque, New Mexico, bringing more than 20 years of silversmithing experience to every piece she makes.
Her name may also appear as Rosella Paxson-Sandoval or Rosella Sandoval. It is occasionally written as “Paxton,” but Paxson is the spelling most closely associated with the artist and her work.

Rosella’s jewelry is unapologetically bold. She is known for creating substantial rings, pendants, bracelets and earrings that place beautiful natural materials at the center of attention.
Turquoise in all its remarkable colors and matrices frequently appears in her work, along with spiny oyster shell, onyx and other distinctive stones.
